Our Vision
The vision of CaPROWN is to have a sustainable virtual and physical platform that will generate more female researchers and equip them with what it takes to develop a professional research career and publish a biennial book series with the articles of these female Cameroon scientists.

Our Mission
- Through the CaPROW networking Initiatives, women in academia can exchange ideas and gain mentor-ship support in their field of scientific research, and
- Through digitization, these women will be exposed to trendy data collection, analysis, processing, publishing, and archiving techniques from appropriate research infrastructures that will foster their research career progression.
- Specifically, this platform will help in creating a working environment that can help junior female scientists get access to information that is relevant for obtaining competitive research funding and also create possible international scholarship opportunities for them while collaborating with other professionals in their disciplines.
- At CaPROWN, we believe that giving these marginalized female scientists the right motivation, information, and opportunities to fulfill their potentials will create vibrant, healthy, and inclusive professional career paths, that is why we are committed to giving them just the right platforms to enable them better spread their wings and soar to the peak of their professional lives.
- Since Cameroon is commonly referred to as “Africa in miniature”, the application of this mission statement will hold for any part of Africa.
