Epidemiology and Control of Blood-Borne Viruses.

CAPROWN is proud to announce that one of her member Professor Marceline Djuidje Ngounoue is leading a significant Research Topic in Frontiers in Virology on the Epidemiology and Control of Blood-Borne Viruses in Low and Middle Income Countries. Alongside her dedicated team, she seeks contributions from authors, scientists and researchers in order to achieve the goals of this project by reviewing for publication, with her team, manuscripts on understanding the challenges posed by viruses such as HIV, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C, effective public health strategies so far developped. This research topic explores: The genetic factors influencing viral transmission. Innovative diagnostic tools tailored for low-resource settings. Strategies to combat antiviral resistance and improve disease management. This initiative is crucial for enhancing our understanding of viral infections and developing sustainable solutions to mitigate their impact on vulnerable populations.
