In the recent symposium, Dr. Tume shared valuable insights on the critical role women in rural communities play in building resilience to the impacts of climate change. He highlighted the need to better support female smallholder farmers, entrepreneurs, and community leaders as they develop innovative adaptation solutions.

In the upcoming symposium, Professor Wilfred Fon Mbacham, Professor of Public Health Biotechnology, will be discussing career opportunities outside academia. Presented by Professor Tonjock Rosemary Kinge, (Associate Professor of Mycology and Phytopathology in the department of Biological Science, Faculty of Science at the University of Bamenda.

3rd CaPROWN Symposium

For her third monthly Symposium scheduled to hold on the 27th of March 2021 via a Zoom meeting session starting from 4:00 pm W est/Central African Time (CAT) CaPROWN will be hosting a special guest speaker and mentor; Prof. Jean Claude Mbanya, Professor of Medicine and Endocrinology at the Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, also the Director Biotechnology Center and postgraduate Dean Doctoral School of Life, Health and Environmental Sciences, University of Yaounde 1. He will be presenting a Talk on the Topic of; What Makes a Good Marriage Relationship in a Scientific Career.
