• Research Profile: Dr. Lem Edith Abongwa is a lecturer in the Department of Microbiology and Parasitology at the University of Bamenda, Cameroon. She obtained her PhD in Medical Microbiology in 2019 from Kenyatta University. Her research focuses on various aspects of viral infections, including HIV, Hepatitis B, and Hepatitis C co-infections. Her work explores strain diversity, disease progression, diagnosis, treatment response, side effects, and drug resistance mutations. She also investigates risk factors for infections and works on community health programs in collaboration with non-governmental organizations. Dr. Abongwa has co-authored several research papers and serves as a reviewer for peer journals. She is currently a Visiting Research Fellow at the African Center of Excellence for Genomics and Infectious Diseases (ACEGID) at Redeemer’s University in Nigeria. She is committed to empowering female researchers and mentoring in science.

  • Muyang Rosaline Fosah epouse Ano was born on the 8^th of March 1983 in Bamenda. She is a Lectures in the Department of Biology, Higher Teacher Training College Bambili, the University of Bamenda. She obtained her BSc. And MSc. from the University of Buea and PhD in 2018 from the University of Douala Cameroon in Apllied Botany. Since 2012 she has been teaching courses related to plant Biology. Her specialty is Plant Biotechnology/Crop Production. Dr Muyang Rosaline has also supervised more than 20 end of course projects for the DIPES I and 8 DIPES II for the 5^th year students. She is a member of both CAFOBIOS and BIOSCIENCE society of Cameroon.

• Personal Information:
  • Muyang Rosaline Fosah, formerly known as Muyang Rosaline Fosah Ano, was born on March 8, 1983, in Bamenda, Cameroon. She currently holds the position of Lecturer in the Department of Biology at the Higher Teacher Training College, University of Bamenda. She obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Buea, and in 2018, she completed her PhD in Applied Botany at the University of Douala, Cameroon. Since 2012, she has been teaching courses related to plant biology, specializing in Plant Biotechnology and Crop Production. Dr. Muyang Rosaline has also supervised numerous end-of-course projects for DIPES I and 8 DIPES II students in their fifth year. She is an active member of both the CAFOBIOS and BIOSCIENCE societies in Cameroon.
